River Run Riding, LLC was created by riding instructor Madeline Kirkpatrick and her off-the-track thoroughbred, Tributaire aka “River”. Located in the heart of horse country just outside Austin, Texas, River Run Riding offers a comprehensive horseback riding lesson program for children and adults, compassionate equine training, as well as equine sales and consignment services. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, at River Run Riding you'll learn to connect with horses through clear communication and partnership-promoting instruction.

Equine Training

River Run Riding offers competitively-priced partial and full equine training programs that are tailored to suit your horse's specific needs and training goals. All training programs are built on a foundation of patience, clarity, and leadership which allows the trainer to thoroughly understand and accommodate the unique personality and physical capability of your horse.   • Outgrown your beloved pony? River Run Riding also offers consignment services to help you find the very best re-homing experience for your horse. Contact us for rates and availability.   

  • River Run Riding will occasionally have horses for sale to excellent homes. Click here for listings.

  • River Run Riding believes in re-using tack/barn supplies and sharing what you no longer use with other riders. As such, we will sometimes have quality used tack and other barn supplies listed here.
